Our Philosophy

"My dharma is to work so that I can give"

Over half a century ago, Shri Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja, the founder of the Hinduja Group and Foundation, enunciated this philosophy and made a commitment to serve those less privileged than him.

Being a firm believer that he had to return to society what he gained from it, and in turn serve and help people better their existence, he developed the following five guiding principles, which continue to guide and inspire the Hinduja Family's philanthropic zeal.

Let your life be guided by Dharma (Duty)

The greatest quality a human being can have is to be a truefollower
Dharma

When you have dharma with you, you have everything.
For Dharma comes prosperity (Arth), fulfilment of all desires (Kama)
and knowledge, wisdom (Gyana) and liberation (Moksha).

You need not to be a Vedic (Book of Knowledge) scholar to follow Dharma.

It has been said in the Mahabharat:

Dharma protected, protects, Dharma destroyed, destroys.
May you always protect Dharma and may Dharma
always protect you!
